OUR STORY

JMasonCeramics is a woman-owned company that features beautiful and unique artisan pottery which is created by hand-building each piece or creating them on the pottery wheel. All the pieces are fired using multiple layers of glaze which gives them their stunning finishes.

The owner/artist, Jennifer Mason, studied Drawing and Painting at St. Martin's School of Art in London, as well as Visual Arts and Education at SUNY New Paltz where she was awarded a BS in Art Education. She also received an MA in Educational Leadership after moving to Albuquerque, NM. Jennifer has spent the last 35 years teaching visual arts, as well as pursuing her passion as an abstract expressionist oil painter and ceramic artist.

Jennifer states, "Albuquerque is a brilliantly amazing place to call home, with its never-ending vistas of mountains and mesas. It has been such a pivotal influence in all of my artistic endeavors, from teaching the arts to creating my own pieces."
